What is a chili Dog??????

Ok so you wanna know what makes a great chilidog? Well lets start with the basics, click here for the definition of the Chili Dog.

Next we have to start with a fresh roll. I like to grill the roll. I only use New England style rolls. Lightly butter the roll on each side. Then grill to a golden brown.

I use homemade chili but you can find some good tasting canned stuff too. So put some chili on top of the hot dog.

Then I like to use shredded Cheddar cheese. When you put the cheese on it melts a bit making a great Chili Dog! Check out this link for a nice looking chili dog!  http://www.chilidog.org/
